Bay Watch Cloud Drawing Workshop on Swansea Bay

Inspired by Colin Priest’s Bay Watch project for Art Across The City, we invited people of all ages to come and take part in our fun drawing workshop on Swansea Bay’s fantastic beach in front of the Slip Bridge.

We ran the first of our Bay Watch Cloud Drawing Workshops last Sunday which involved lots of lovely sand drawing on the beach with Locws artist David Marchant, the weather was a bit of a challenge but we still managed to achieve lots of lovely drawings including a huge replica of the Slip Bridge itself.

We are running the second Cloud drawing workshop on SUNDAY MAY 24th 11am – 3pm with Locws artist Rik Bennett.

These free drop in workshops invite you to draw directly onto the beach using rakes, sticks, driftwood, stones and your hands. We are looking for drawings of giant clouds, huge ice creams or even writing a message on the beach in ginormous letters for all to see.

For more info, please email rebecca@locwsinternational.com or ask our friendly team at the Art Across the City Hub in Swansea Quadrant (opposite Thorntons).
