Niamh McCann was born in Dublin, Ireland where she lives and works
Niamh McCann’s varied and playful practice, which includes sculpture, installation, painting and video, explores philosophical conundrums through seemingly random visual juxtapositions and spatial relationships, looking toward themes of travel, globalization and urbanization within very particular social and political contexts
McCann completed an MA at Chelsea College of Art and Design and her BA in Cork. She has exhibited extensively including exhibitions in Switzerland, Chile, Germany and USA
