Here are all the Art Across The City artworks that you can see today. Some are temporary, on until 12th May 2013, but many are permanent. Use the links below and the Artwork Location Map to navigate the city and find them. You can also download a printable version of the Art Across The City 2013 brochure here or pick one up from your local library, museum or the Civic Centre.
Our latest work is Pete Fowler‘s Portrait Of The Artist As A Young Octopus on 58 High Street, opposite Swansea Train Station. It is the largest work Fowler has done to date and is inspired by Dylan Thomas and other local themes. Sinta Tantra‘s, Greater Reality Of Elsewhere, brings elements of her Balinese heritage to the streets of the city on 229 – 230 High Street. Both these works are part of the Art Across The High Street programme. You can also see other bold and colourful mural artworks by Swansea artists Sean Puleston, Rik Bennett and Bristow Lloyd on High Street; Mark Folds‘ carved tree stump, Dylan’s Pencil, in Cwmdonkin Park; Bermingham & Robinson‘s The British Empire Panel Project on the entrance windows to the Brangwyn Hall; Niamh McCann‘s mural, A Flock of Ospreys… on the back of the Dylan Thomas Theatre and Bedwyr Williams‘ homage to Lionheart and Lightsout set into the Kingsway pavement.
