Michael Stumpf brings an almost absurdist, punk rock approach to public art in Swansea. Using the Amphitheatre as a setting, The Future Is A Process, Objects Converse On A Matter of Mutual Concern, brings together three large sculptures with references to monolithic public art, industry and music.
A tap-dancing boulder, One of Us, a coffeemaker, Stovetop, and a meteorite-like object, Pink Moon, will temporarily occupy the stage and seating, and invite you to take a seat or stand to join them in a debate about the nature of their thing-ness.
